We are currently looking for creative and self-motivated individuals for the following position:  Website Programmer/Developer. 

 Position Overview:

The Website Programmer/Developer role is responsible for executing valid technical and creative solutions within requirements outlined within project proposals and formally approved projects at Ecreativeworks.  Ecreativeworks is looking for a website programmer/developer interested in working with e-commerce, configurator, and custom application projects, these projects will include implementing elements for custom part building applications, filtering thousands of products, and integration with ERP software via XML or other means.

 This role will also be responsible for day-to-day project communications, development, communication and oversight of project timelines, timely product deliveries and ensuring the creative product meets the client’s expectations.  It is anticipated that the core responsibilities will remain consistent; however, additional responsibilities and/or activities will be added as the role progresses and is refined. Immediate responsibilities include (and are not limited to): 

• The creation and production of Websites and technical solutions, as specified and agreed upon by Ecreativeworks clients. This includes:
  • Technical programming, creative design, internal/external training, internal correspondence, internal communication, regular updates on projects and full communication of known issues that may impact Ecreativeworks.
• Contribute and implement industry best practices, as solutions are offered.
• Commitment to strictly adhere to Ecreativeworks written procedures regarding new business, business in production and ongoing processes. This includes an agreement with the Production Project Manager must be obtained prior to straying from actual procedures.
• Scope management for assigned projects; including ensuring the project is built to specification and not beyond.
• Partnering, when needed, with the sales and analytics teams to validate solutions and sales propositions. At times, this may include contributing to the proposal development process;
• Development and production of projects, as assigned.

 Position Requirements:

• At least 2 years PHP/MySQL application development experience.
• Advanced HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / JS libraries (jquery/mootools a plus).
• Proven experience with sites that interface with e-commerce and database-driven apps.
• Ability to work independently under deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail / ability to produce quality work with minimal bugs.
• Ability to work with and without established frameworks.

 Preferred Qualities in Applicants:

• Associates degree or BS in Computer Science / Information Systems (or related degree).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of ecommerce applications, including understanding the building and maintaining of modules.
•  MS SQL experience.
• Knowledge of GIT
